Construction Of Locks

The lock is mainly composed of the following parts:
(1) Lock cylinder: The lock cylinder is the core part of the lock, which includes the key parts for locking and unlocking. When inserting the correct key, the toothed portion on the key will correspondingly move the internal parts inside the lock cylinder.
(2) Key: A key is a tool used to unlock a lock. Different keys will trigger different internal mechanisms to open the corresponding lock.
(3) Lock beam: The lock beam is the part that connects the lock cylinder and the door frame, and it moves the internal parts inside the lock cylinder by turning the key.
(4) Lock body: The lock body is the external part of the lock, usually installed on the door. It includes the lock cylinder and lock beam, as well as other parts of the lock.
