Cleaning
Wipe the surface of the lock body with a clean and soft cloth regularly to remove dust and stains. Avoid using detergents containing corrosive chemicals to prevent damage to the stainless steel material. For the keyhole, you can use a compressed air can to blow out the internal dust to prevent foreign matter from accumulating and affecting the insertion and extraction of the key.
Lubrication
Add an appropriate amount of lubricant to the lock core at regular intervals. It is recommended to use graphite powder or professional lock lubricant, spray it into the keyhole, and then insert the key and turn it repeatedly several times to ensure that the lubricant is evenly distributed in the various parts inside the lock core. Be careful not to use liquid lubricants such as motor oil, because they are easy to absorb dust, which will affect the normal operation of the lock core over time.
Check parts
Regularly check the various parts of the lock body, including the lock tongue, lock buckle, etc. Check whether the lock tongue pops out and retracts smoothly, and whether the lock buckle fits tightly with the door frame. If the lock tongue is found to be inflexible, it may be that the internal parts are worn or there are foreign objects blocking it. You can try to clean it or contact a professional maintenance personnel for repair. Check whether the lock body fixing screws are loose. If they are loose, tighten them in time to ensure that the lock is firmly installed.
Correct use
When using the key to open and close the lock, keep the action gentle and avoid violent insertion and removal of the key. If the key is difficult to insert or turn, do not force it. Check whether there is any foreign object blocking or lock core failure first, and then operate after eliminating the problem. When closing the door, do not swing the door hard to avoid impacting the lock body and affecting the stability of its internal structure.
